Lawson is an active performer around both Sydney and the Northern Rivers, and is experienced in a variety of styles.
He will bring professionalism and high levels of energy to any freelance work or musical performance,
such as:

Salsa
Funk /soul

Pop / commercial
Events / Functions
If you are seeking live music for an event, Lawson is able to provide a variety of ensembles.
These include:

Education
Lawson has been teaching music at a professional level for the last 7 years, is highly experienced,and is passionate about instilling this knowledge, motivation and enjoyment to other musicians.
He is particularly passionate about jazz music and improvisation.
Lawson is available for music tuition in the following areas, for all levels, beginner to advanced:
Trombone
Improvisation/Jazz Theory
Music Theory
HSC coaching
Music tuition is available either in person, or online via Zoom lessons.
Composition / Arranging
Lawson is an experienced composer and arranger throughout a multitude of styles.

Transcription
Lawson has advanced aural skills, and has a lot of experience in transcribing material including melodies, to
jazz solos, complete charts, chord progressions, and many more.
He can provide transciption services for any piece of musical content that you wish to have in the form of a chart, notation, chord chart, etc.
